Pamela started her working life in a chartered accountancy office in Te Aroha, studying extramurally for her CA qualifications.
A desire to explore and experience other ways of life, saw Pamela and husband Geoff take two years off work to cycle around the world together, covering 42,000 through Euorpe, Japan and Southern Africa.
Pamela joined Barnes Mossman in 2005 as a Manager and enjoys working with Nick Chrystall and his team.
Pamela is really interested in computers and systems, and enjoys supporting clients in all day to day aspects of accounting in their businesses. She is also an accredited Xero advisor.
With a keen interest in orienteering, as both a participant and an administrator/co-ordinator of local and national events, Pamela has been instrumental in moving the organisation into the 21st century with the introduction of electronic timing (thats her analytical mind hard at work - collecting and analysing data into a useful output!)
With a keen love of the outdoors, you will often find Pamela and her family out and about, if they are not orienteering, or watching their son play hockey, then they will be cycling or hiking around Hawke's Bay.
